Well week three of #theNTshow (The Nick Tadd show) and WOW what a great broadcast with Penny Power. (Not forgetting previous weeks with Joy Webber and  Tom Evans.

I'm sure that everyone who has taken  part in the broadcast or have read the transcripts afterwards would totally agree with me.

Over the last previous three weeks #theNTshow has given everyone a lot of food for thought.

I would love to know how being involved/reading transcripts of #thentshow has made other social tribe contributers feel? i.e did it make you feel inspired? Did the interviews give more understanding about social media i.e blogging, twitter etc? What did we learn from each guest? there are so many questions I would love to ask. And Intrigued about everyone's answers.

This is my third week of being involved with #thentshow live interviews on twitter.

My first introductions to the #thentshow was the first week the show started. Beginning with the lovely Joy Webber the twittering granny - social media virgin!

I would like to share with everyone through this blog ,how each week and interview has given a lesson and food for thought.

WEEK 1. Joy Webber. - Joy really was a breath of fresh air, and her interview, blogs have inspired me very much to get back into blogging. That night after Joy's  interview I wrote my first social tribes blog, which now has contiuned on to starting the dream and making it a reality.

I've already mentioned in my  first blog how I had lost all my confidence to blog for a while. I started blogging on mydeco at the end of last year, an excellent website for interiors. Mydeco is a great source of connecting with people in the same industry as my business Dreamwall, forever I will be grateful not only for the business connections I made on there but I made real friends. Unfortunetly I had a set back early summer and I was full of FEAR to continue with my blogs, and took my blogs off line. I set up my twitter account in May this year, which is probably one of the best things I ever did. Luckily in that time I got really into twitter and 6 months on I'm a twitaholic! Without twitter I would never have met Nick and Vanessa, who have connected me and many others too many fantastic #likemind people. - so my food for thought is I learn't from Joy and Nicks #thentshow - to over come FEAR and to sod what others say and think! JUST DO IT! - and I did! - so thank you ;-)

WEEK 2. Tom Evens - Tom is an angel! Never once has he judged me, I class Tom as one of my mentors. I am now doing a book writing course, learning about mind mapping, tons of mentor guidence to feel positive with dyslexia. Tom has opened me up to a new world of writing, helping me set up my new blogs on wordpress. One blog is so I can write transcripts of my first book, and the other is my NEW improved Dreamwall blog. So yes the#NTshow has had a massive impact. I also met another Angel in Sarah Lamb through #theNTshow on the same day. (Again all connected) Sarah too has been an inspiration and help with my book writing. (The power of attraction and connecting people) - thats excatly what #thentshow does! - so again thank you.

WEEK 3. Penny Power - and boy does Penny deserve the last name (power) todays #thentshow was powerful. Penny had plenty of Advice for a social media virgin, and that was to be a FRIEND, be open,  random & supportive : Be Conguent, Erudite & Polite :-) I totally agree, that is what social networking is about! Making friends, and helping others. It is difficult when people are hidden behind there computer screens, but Nick and Vanessa are introducing so many people to meetings and events, eventually we will all be a real face to one another than just an aviator picture (sorry mine on here is a brick wall) - will change it!  lol ;-)

But food for thought from Penny's interview, its made me realise that not everyone is going to like you in social media - but just be yourself, be righteous, be honest, be polite. I also enjoyed Nicks tweet "Not pleasing everyone all of the time" is a secret to being "remarkable" according to @sethgodin. I like that! #theNTshow - this is so true!

After todays interview I sat back and reflected on what I have learned ; and I came to the conclusion that I was mean't to be involved in social media. I'm in it for the right reasons and that is to network, connect, make friends, be helpful, be honest and to be true to myself.

So once again #TheNTshow what a great week, you have got me thinking and got me connecting! - that I will always be grateful for - thank you Hannah ;-)
