Thank you to all who tuned into the Nick Tadd show yesterday on twitter, we had an amazing response that went on even after the official end to the show.

alt

The most amazing thing about this form of interview is the fact that it can take place pretty much anywhere. as it turned out yesterday we ha a "stupid o'clock" start to drive up-to Gateshead, half way there, despite getting a blow out at 80 on the M1, the show still went on - albeit in the services!

alt

Being able to "broadcast" from the services on the M1 brought back Thomas's comments from the Weybridge event on Monday night, that with-in the next ten years most business will be conducted from mobile devices.

Thomas also spoke at length abuot "connetive-ness" and that the more connected you are, the more opportunity that flows towards you. As a result of theNTshow a lovely fellow by the name of Bill Keenlyside (10 years on ecademy) followed us from ecademy - socialmediatribes.co.uk - theNTshow on twitter - then turned up at the event in Gateshead to chat with us in person!!

Some conclusions from yesterday:

1. It felt incredibly liberating to work in such a productive manner as to be able to broadcast my show from a service station while on my way to a speaking engagement. This could never happen in TV.
2. I am already talking to people about sponsoring theNTshow. Groundswell is an increasingly valuable commodity and it seems that others are willing to pay to leverage that.
3. With each broadcast of thNTshow we learn more. - it's not as easy as you would have thought, but we have/are learned/learning.
4. We now see that Vanessa can take on the role of Producer, similar to TV but none-the-less important. What it takes to produce this is increasingly complex.
5. Social media event coverage will soon become a chargeble commodity/skill.
6. During this broadcast I acquired over 300 new followers!!! - and the chat continued after I officially signed off.
7. It was gratifying to see people in the conversation making connections with each other.
8. Although the Twitter only allows 140ch @thebookwright was able to include massive value in his answers through links.

It was also interesting that we introduced a new section reminiscent of "Desert Island Disks" called "Desert Island Sites" - if you had the web on a desert island, but could only have x3 sites, which ones would you choose and why?

Tom's from yesterday were interesting:

1. Wikipedia 4 All Human Knowledge
2. Visual Thesaurus 4 All Words
3. Brainy Quotes 4 Inspiration

So onwards and up-wards: Next week we have the lovely @pennypower on the show, looking forward to that.

So tune in Wednesday at 10.30am GMT!

The Nick Tadd show NO experts NO gurus, just like minds.
